Our Programs
Moadon
After-School Program in Beit Shemesh
Our Moadon program in Beit Shemesh is an active after-school initiative dedicated to young women of Ethiopian descent. Meeting several times a week, the program primarily focuses on tutoring and academic support, ensuring each young woman receives the help she needs to succeed. Beyond academics, the young women engage in reading groups, fun activities, exercise, and meditation. A highlight of the year is their preparation for and participation in the Jerusalem Marathon, where they proudly join the community. During the summer, Moadon transforms into a special camp, filled with exciting trips, pool days, and a personalized academic head start on the upcoming school year.

Netball and Arts Extracurricular Program
Empowering 6th grade girls through sports and creativity.
A half-year enrichment program for 6th grade students at Orot Banot School, combining netball and arts as tools for personal growth and social connection.
The program includes weekly sessions, with each student participating in either netball or arts once a week. Through sports and creative expression, the girls develop teamwork, self-confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging within their grade.
Throughout the year, the program also offers special workshops that deepen the educational and social experience. The program culminates in a shared Bat Mitzvah celebration, emphasizing unity, personal development, and meaningful transition into adolescence.
The overall goal is to strengthen social cohesion and inclusion, empowering the girls through both physical activity and artistic expression.
Sayeret Dror
Building leadership and resilience in at-risk girls through outdoor training.
A program designed for at-risk teenage girls, focusing on the development of leadership, resilience, and self-confidence through Outdoor Training (OTD).
Led by the organization Milchemet HaAretz, the program uses experiential outdoor activities to challenge participants both physically and mentally. Through teamwork-based challenges, guided reflection, and hands-on learning in natural settings, the girls develop leadership skills, responsibility, perseverance, and trust—in themselves and in others.

Riding for Resilience
Therapeutic Bike Riding Classes
In partnership with Geerz, the "Riding for Resilience" program offers young women from Ultra Orthodox backgrounds the chance to experience the outdoors through therapeutic bike riding. Participants meet regularly for classes that provide not only physical activity but also therapeutic benefits. Through the calming effect of nature and cycling, these young women gain resilience, confidence, and a sense of community. For example, learning how to navigate difficult terrain on a bike teaches them perseverance and the importance of pushing through life's challenges, no matter how tough the road ahead may seem.
Wheels of Hope
Therapeutic Bike Riding for Evacuees
DROR, in partnership with Geerz, runs a therapeutic bike riding program for children and teens who were evacuated from their homes in southern Israel following the traumas of October 7th and the war that followed. These young participants have endured turbulent and painful times, far from the familiarity of home and community. Through bike riding, they are given the chance to let loose, experience the outdoors, and find solace in the calming effect of nature. This program empowers them by helping them regain a sense of control and strength, teaching them resilience as they navigate both the trails and the emotional challenges they face. Thankfully, they are now back home, but we will continue the program as a space for healing and for the consistency they need during this turbulent time.
