About DROR
We believe in the potential of every young woman. We believe that with the right support and opportunities, they can embrace who they are, define their future, and change the world.
DROR was founded in memory of Rikki and Racheli Menora z"l,who tragically passed away alongside their grandfather, Moshe z’l and cousin, Sara z’l, in a devastating plane crash. DROR runs as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing young women with the tools and encouragement to strive high and succeed. We believe in the power of focusing on both mind and body, emphasizing education and sports training. Through those avenues, in a supportive group environment, they can realize their full potential.
We have several groups running locally in Beit Shemesh. Our Moadon is an after-school program for young women of Ethiopian descent, focused on academic support, enrichment and activities, along with integration of exercise and meditation in their daily activities. Moreover, we partnered with Geerz in providing therapeutic bike riding classes for Ultra Orthodox young women. Through bike riding, the young women learn about themselves and their capabilities.
